Birgitte Gjestvang og Marit Slagsvold Ung sorg

Client: Aschehoug

Losing someone you love can be scary, confusing, sad, lonely and unreal. But no grief is the same. For some, grief is strong, demanding and present all the time. For others it is quiet and comes and goes. It does not mean that one person's grief is more real or more correct than the other's. In the book Ung sorg (Adolescent grief), we meet 14 young people who have all experienced the loss of someone in their immediate family. Their stories show the many and sad faces of grief, but also tell of strength, joy in life and opportunities. The book's sections are separated by shades of blue, with the exception of the last chapter, which begins with an energetic red color. Each interview contains two portraits with slight nuances in the facial expressions.
